Irrigation Wells

There are many applications for drilling an irrigation well. Whether it's for a garden center, greenhouse, farm or because you want to have a lush green lawn an irrigation well may be the answer to your watering and irrigation needs.

A well used for irrigating can be constructed as a bedrock or a shallow well. We help determine what the best type of well is for your watering needs. Some towns impose water bans, therefore leaving you with a burnt or dried out lawn so don't wait until your grass turns brown or your vegetables suffer to have an irrigation well drilled. A Skillings representative will help you determine if an irrigation well on your property can help protect your investment.

Tip
Do you know where your well is located? Does your well extend approximately 10-12” above ground?

If it is not raised above ground, the extreme snow melt and rainfall can cause your well to be covered by water and result in possible contamination and flooded basement.

Your well should be chlorinated, tested and the casing raised 10-12” above ground.
