An electrical locator tool, also known as a cable or pipe locator, is a device used to locate underground utilities and other conductive structures. It works by detecting the electromagnetic fields produced by electrical currents flowing through conductive materials such as metal pipes or cables.
It's a best practice to find and stake your well before the snow falls. If a well problem such as the need for a well pump replacement occurs, knowing where your water well is will save you time and money.
