Monday-Friday, 40 hrs/week; start/end times as agreed upon with possibly weekly overtime.

 

POSITION SUMMARY 

Assist Inventory Manager and organize stockroom inventory. Keep the building facility in clean and orderly condition. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of repair needs, and cleaning snow or debris from walkways and points of entry/exit. Deliver parts, tools, etc. to field technicians and customers when needed. Frequent fork-lift work within the warehouse and outside lot.

  • Perform shipping and receiving functions such as verifying deliveries against shipping documents, receiving items utilizing Service Titan, and off-loading delivery trucks.

  • Stockroom: organize and put new inventory away daily.

  • Provide technicians parts and equipment required from their “Daily Inventory Sign Out Sheet” and conduct Transfers between Stockroom and Trucks via Service Titan.

  • Stage parts for jobs when applicable.

  • Perform Annual and “as needed” physical counts and validation.

  • Advise management of discrepancies in inventory counts and values.

  • Advise management on cost saving ideas and/or efficiency.

  • Conduct daily inspections of pump bay & yard for cleanliness. 

  • Drive vehicles required to perform job duties, including but not limited to delivering various parts/equipment to job sites or offsite repair facilities. This will require obtainment of a DOT Medical certification. 

  • Clean building and warehouse floors.

  • Monitor recycling bins and schedule pick up with vendors when necessary.

  • Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. 

  • Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings. 

  • Move furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually, using hand trucks, or forklift. 

  • Remove snow from sidewalks using snow shovels and spread snow melting chemicals. 

  • Notify managers concerning the need for repairs. 

  • Work with Inventory Manager to identify parts par levels for warehouse and standardize pump, service, and filter vans.

  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor(s) and/or Company Management.

SKILLS & ABILITIES 

Education:  High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience:  1 to 2 years of related work. Plumbing and electrical knowledge..

Other Requirements, Certificates & Licenses:      

  • Maintain a valid driver’s license. 

  • Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card (Federal Motor Carrier requirements-paid by the Employer).

  • Maintain a good driving record, needs to be covered by company’s general liability insurance.

 

Computer Skills:  Proficient in basic computer operations, Outlook, Word, and Excel. Must be able to learn new systems such as Service Titan, Intact, and UPS shipping module.
